A Sweet and Savory Classic.
When you pair pork with real, raw honey, yum happens. Our local Las Vegas honey brings bold depth that transforms this dish into something special.
It's rich, garlicky, and just sweet enough to keep you coming back for seconds. The glaze clings to the meat and gives it that golden, sticky finish everyone loves.
Serve it sliced over mashed potatoes, roasted sweet potatoes, or tucked into warm tortillas with slaw for a unique "slaw-wich."
Ingredient List
1 to 1.5 pounds pork tenderloin
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 to 4 garlic cloves, minced
1/3 cup Vegas Bees raw honey
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 teaspoons soy sauce or tamari (optional)
A sprig of fresh rosemary or thyme (optional)
Directions
Preheat your oven to 375°F.
Pat the pork dry with a paper towel. Season all sides with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a cast iron or oven-safe skillet over medium-high. Sear the pork until golden on all sides, about 6 to 8 minutes total.
Lower the heat to medium. Add the garlic and cook for about 30 seconds, stirring constantly.
In a small bowl, mix the honey, vinegar, mustard, and soy sauce. Pour this mixture over the pork and stir gently to coat.
Transfer the skillet to the oven. Roast for 15 to 20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
Every 5 minutes, spoon the glaze over the pork to build up that shiny, flavorful crust.
Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing.
Slice into medallions and serve with any extra glaze from the pan.
Optional Add-Ons
For a spicy twist, toss in a pinch of red pepper flakes.
Add a splash of orange or lemon juice to brighten the glaze.
Swap the skillet for the grill if you prefer charred edges. Just brush on the glaze as it cooks.
