Joshua Tree Preserve & Wildlife Habitat
We are Preserving Joshua Trees and Desert Wildlife in Arizona

Welcome to the Joshua Tree Preserve, where the splendor of nature meets the beauty of preservation.
My name is Betsy, and I am honored to be the steward of this breathtaking sanctuary.
Here, we are committed to protecting the endangered Joshua Trees that grace the high desert of Arizona.
In addition, our preserve is a vital stopover for migratory birds and animals, providing a thriving, diverse, unique wildlife habitat.

The Joshua Tree Preserve Apiary

Welcome to our beloved Joshua Tree Preserve Apiary, our little slice of paradise tucked away in four untouched acres of Arizona's high desert!
This is where we've given a second chance to many a bee colony, rescuing them and offering them a happy, protected home amidst the natural splendor of the desert.
With a healthy number of hives under our care, we're all about balance here.
We've worked hard to ensure that our buzzing friends can thrive without upsetting the beautiful harmony of their surroundings - it's all about sustainable beekeeping!
Natural Beauty
We take great pride in keeping our four-acre property untouched and natural, allowing the animals, birds, and critters that call this land home to thrive and flourish.
Unlike tourist areas that may disrupt and harm the environment, the Joshua Tree Preserve is a haven of peace and tranquility.
Visitors are not allowed, ensuring the wildlife can enjoy their undisturbed home.
Our preserve is a big, happy family where nature reigns supreme and every creature is valued and protected.
Joshua Tree Preserve Honey Bees
Look at this Swarm of Bees!

Have you heard about our newest buzzing friends at the Joshua Tree Preserve and Wildlife Habitat?
They're the honeybees, and they're working hard to make our desert bloom!

This is one of the swarms we were lucky enough to catch out there.
These tiny heroes are essential to pollinating many flowers, plants, shrubs, and trees that provide food and shelter for various desert critters and birds.
Luckily, our desert landscape provides abundant forage for both native and honey bees to thrive!
